Step 1: Backup your internal phone sd to a pc/mac..

step 2: Download the JellyBean FirmWare Upgrade Tool
Firmware Upgrade Thread

Step 3: Unzip the download to a folder, making sure all files within the ZIP are located in the same folder.

Step 4: Open the Firmware upgrade tool entitled "JBFWFlasher.bat" and choose
option 1, "type 1 press enter" it will show a warning just press any key
and continue.

step 5: On screen once through all warnings it will ask you to do all sorts,
just reboot phone into fastboot by turning off the phone then holding vol
down and power until you get the hboot menu, then select fastboot, connect
phone to pc using usb cable. (Alternativly, issue the fastboot command: fasboot reboot bootloader)

step 6. It will then ask a question about your hboot mine was 1.12 so my answer
was no, after this you should see a menu to select your current cid, choose
your CID from the selected lists. Once done it will mention locking your bootloader, click OK it should then state the bootloader is already unlocked.

Step 7: It will ask to reboot phone into RUU mode, reboot into RUU mode using the steps provided. Continue by pressing any key to flash the firmware. Once the firmware has flashed your hboot should now be 1.36.you can now close the firmware tool.

Step 8: As your phones internal memory i.e os has been wiped you will no
longer be able to boot into any os just yet. at this point with your
phone still connected via usb and run htc ruu until it completes.
